Michele Tafoya took to X on Sunday to let her followers know she would be focused on something else besides Bad Bunny’s performance during the halftime show. She probably thought the post made her more relatable to Republican voters, and it might have worked if not for what she said she’d be doing instead.
“During halftime tonight, I’m going to do something I’ve never done before: fold laundry,” Tafoya posted before halftime on Sunday:
Tafoya’s casual admission that she had never done a basic household task made her a prime target for social media snark:
This is the second time Tafoya has made an out-of-touch statement on social media. The first was last month when she announced her candidacy with a video, and she suggested with a straight face that walking the NFL sidelines taught her leadership. Needless to say, she was raked over the coals.
