Did Trump Share Classified Docs With Kid Rock?

In a March 21, 2022 interview with Tucker Carlson, Kid Rock talked about what great pals he and Trump are, including this little anecdote, meant to be amusing:

“We’re looking at maps and shit, and I’m like, ‘Am I supposed to be in on this shit?’ Kid Rock said. “I make dirty records sometimes. ‘What do you think we should do about North Korea?’ I’m like, ‘What? I don’t think I’m qualified to answer this.’”

It was alarming enough to learn that Trump sought advice about North Korea from Kid Rock but at least he had the good sense to stay away from the issue.

But the DOJ’s indictment against Donald Trump casts this incident in a new, more disturbing light. In addition to revealing that Trump was shockingly careless and cavalier with classified and even top secret material, it cites two incidents in which he showed classified material to others without a security clearance (Items 6 a and b). For example:

In August or September 2021, at the Bedminster club, TRUMP showed a representative of his political action committee who did not possess a security clearance a classified map related to a military operation and told the representative that he should not be showing it to the representative and that the representative should not get too close.

As far as I know, Kid Rock has never been a representative of Trump’s PAC. So he is probably not the person referenced there. But just because the indictment cites two times that Trump improperly shared our country’s secrets doesn’t mean he didn’t do it more than that. In fact, there’s every reason to believe he did.
