‘Insanity’: Romney Slams Marge’s Idea Of A ‘National Divorce’

Sen. Mitt Romney called out the “insanity” of controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s idea of a “national divorce” to separate the red and blue states. It is, of course, unconstitutional. But just about everything Marge does is straight-up bonkers.

“You know, I think Abraham Lincoln dealt with that kind of insanity,” Romney told reporters, according to KSL.

“We’re not going to divide the country. It’s united we stand, divided we fall,” the Utah Republican continued.

“Look, there’s no question, but there are some people in my party and in the other party that say things to try to get a headline and get people to send them money, and that happens to lead in today’s loony left,” Romney said, then added, “I should say loony right.”

Utah’s Republican Governor also denounced Marge’s idea:

The two sides cannot get along because one man has lied to them for over 841 days, insisting that he won an election that he lost. And his name rhymes with Ronald Crump. I don’t feel like saying his name today. Thank you for understanding.
