Not One Cable News Network Covered Trump’s ‘Media Availability’ Slot

Donald Trump isn’t having a great holiday. You can tell by reading his crazy-time posts on Truth Social, where he lashes out at the world. Narcissists ruin every holiday. It’s one of their traits. And I suspect that he’s upset after he invited the press to a “media availability” slot at Mar-a-Lago on New Year’s Eve, and not one cable news network covered it, not even Newsmax. I did see that OAN made it there, though. Yay for Trump!

Business Insider reports:

Notably, the media outlet said that even Fox News and Newsmax, which have historically offered sympathetic coverage of the former president, skipped on covering his remarks.

On Saturday, MSNBC host Alex Witt announced that the former president would host a surprise New Year’s Eve “media availability” slot at approximately 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

New York Times journalist Peter Baker said that he did not know what the media availability slot was about but said that he suspected it could be a “gimmick” to “get attention in a positive way,” according to Raw Story.

That’s weird, but there isn’t anything about Donald Trump that isn’t weird. Trump is freaking out because his grip on the GOP is not as firm as it was. In a New Year’s Day rant about the midterms, Trump ended his post with, “Plus, Mitch stupid $’s!” and I cannot translate that. I’m sure there was a lot of ketchupping going on at Mar-a-Lago this weekend.
