President Joe Biden was photographed wearing a “Trump 2024” hat, and it’s drawing mixed reactions from both Democrats and the MAGA faithful.
The president briefly put the red cap over his own while visiting a firehouse in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to commemorate the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

The Trump campaign posted a photo of Biden wearing the hat on social media, forcing White House spokesperson Andrew Bates to provide additional context.
“At the Shanksville Fire Station, @POTUS spoke about the country’s bipartisan unity after 9/11 and said we needed to get back to that.”
“As a gesture, he gave a hat to a Trump supporter who then said that in the same spirit, POTUS should put on his Trump cap. He briefly wore it.”

Video footage from the event shows Biden playfully bantering with a Trump supporter, making jokes about both of them being old.
After Biden autographed a hat for the man, the Trump supporter asked the president if he wanted his own John Hancock in return.
Biden hilariously barked, “Hell no!”
Considering that Biden has reportedly referred to Trump in private as a “sick fuck,” the fact that he put on his political opponent’s hat inspired divided opinions on social media.
Some found the exchange positive and gave Biden props for being a good sport with a “slightly hostile crowd.”
