In Resurfaced Interview, Santos Says He Met Jeffrey Epstein

The first man to land on the moon and three-time Nobel Prize recipient Rep. George Santos said in an unearthed video that he met Jeffrey Epstein – the convicted sex offender who died by, well, this is debatable. Still, it was called a suicide in a Manhattan jail in 2019. Santos, a congressional candidate at the time of the interview in August 2020, also suggested that Epstein could still be alive.

“I met Epstein in a couple of private equity conferences,” Santos said. “I’ve never dealt with him personally, but I’ve met him, I’ve seen him.”

Via Business Insider:

Santos went on to share one of the many popular conspiracy theories about the death of the financier, making the disproven claim that Epstein was murdered and could not have possibly died by suicide. (At the time of his death, Epstein was awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking of minors.)

“The whole story is just so skewed,” Santos said. “He didn’t hang himself, he was murdered.”

OK, so if he was murdered (I think he was, too. I admit it. Don’t look at me like that.), how is he still alive?

Later in the podcast interview, Santos entertained the implausible idea that Epstein could still be alive.

“I wouldn’t put it past me that he’s still walking around us and we’re all like, ‘Oh my god, the guy is alive,’ and we can’t tell,” he said. “You know what, it’s 2020, anything can happen.”

Santos has lied about his religion and education, falsely claimed to own 13 properties, allegedly stole items from his friends, his mother’s death, and even stolen from a dying service dog’s GoFundMe page. And he’s lied about his history as a drag performer. What I’m saying here is that he’s lying again.
