As you can see from the actual video of their meeting, the king didn’t fall for the attempt at alpha male dominance and appeared to stand firm.
However, based on social media reactions, King Charles seemed to win this round of “Handshake-A-Mania,” especially after some observers described Trump’s hand as “swollen and discolored” when the two leaders posed for photos later with their wives.
