‘A Big F-A-I-L’: CNN’s Harry Enten Says Trump Made History In This Abysmal Way

CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten on Friday revealed that a majority of Americans are historically sour toward President Donald Trump’s second term about a year since his return to the Oval Office.

“It’s just a big F-A-I-L,” Enten spelled out.

Enten — when asked how Trump 2.0 compares to his predecessors — cited polling that found 58% of people indicated that the president’s second term, about a year into it, has been a “failure.”

He also noted that the question is “a little bit difficult” as Trump is serving two non-consecutive terms, highlighting how the president’s figures are “even worse” versus those of George W. Bush (52%) about a quarter of the way into his second term. (The U.S., at the time, was well over two years into the Iraq War and the Bush administration faced a heap of criticism over its response to Hurricane Katrina.)

The data guru added that Trump’s numbers are abysmal compared to “any other president” in which CNN or the Pew Research Center has asked whether a commander-in-chief’s second term was a “failure” about a year into it.

Moments later, Enten turned his attention to a recent CNN/SSRS poll that found 41% of people say Trump’s second term will result in “fundamental changes to the U.S. that will remain long after his presidency.”

That figure has dropped by double digits since April 2025, when 52% predicted fundamental changes from Trump 2.0.
