‘Ay Yay Yay’: Trump Panics Over A Mirror During White House Meeting

President Donald Trump fumed on Monday over a minor mishap involving a mirror while hosting Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in the White House’s Cabinet Room.

Trump was boasting about Australia being “big orderers of our great military equipment,” which he called “the best equipment anywhere in the world by far,” when he was suddenly distracted by what footage appears to show was a flagpole being bumped into and then banging against a mirror.

Trump interrupted his remarks to instruct reporters:

“Oh, you got to watch that. Watch that. You’re not allowed to break that. That mirror is 400 years old. A camera just hit the mirror. Ay yay yay. I just moved it up here, special from the vaults, and the first thing that happens, the camera hits it. Hard to believe, isn’t it? Hard to believe, but these are the problems in life.”

Footage of the moment quickly went viral on social media.

Trump’s MAGA supporters accused the “fake news” press of being disrespectful, while critics mocked Trump’s reaction as over-the-top.

Some also noted the irony that the incident came the same day demolition crews began tearing down part of the East Wing to make room for a $250 million ballroom.

“Cameras and mirrors are the two things he loves most, so it tears him up to see them destroy each other,” one user quipped.

“A narcissist worried about a mirror,” another added.

MAGA makes‘your mom’jokes.
