Earlier this week, at a school board meeting in Sarasota, Florida, dozens of people spoke for over three hours calling for Mothers for Threesomes cofounder, Bridget Ziegler, to resign from the board due to her hypocrisy. But then one woman came forth and shown herself to be a genuine shero:
Ziegler co-founded the anti-LGBTQ+ hate group Moms for Liberty, championed Florida’s Don’t Say Gay bill, and is a leader in the so-called “parent’s rights” movement against LGBTQ+ youth. The public comment period calling for her resignation lasted almost three hours and included dozens of speakers, according to The Daily Beast.
One resident, Sarah Kessler, has gained attention for trolling Ziegler by standing at the podium and reading out lyrics from Katy Perry’s hit song, “I Kissed a Girl.” The audience laughed as she recited the lyrics to the song’s chorus, “I kissed a girl and I liked it, the taste of her cherry chapstick.” She then put on her own chapstick, joking that her lips were dry.
The chapstick stunt was – if you’ll excuse the pun – the chef’s kiss!
Oh, and Ziegler, like most Republicans, is convinced that her shit doesn’t stink and ignored the little people who weren’t happy with her brutality and her hypocrisy. She probably too busy daydreaming about her same sex lovers to pay much attention anyway.
