The Dam Breaks: First Co-Defendant In Georgia RICO Case Pleads Guilty

Scott Hall, the bail bondsman who was involved in the Coffee County voting machine tampering case which is part of the overall Georgia RICO case has just pleaded guilty in court under a deal with Fulton County DA’s office where he will cooperate in exchange for lesser charges.

Appearing before Judge Scott McAfee, Hall pleaded guilty Friday to five counts of “conspiracy to commit intentional interference with performance of election duties,” which are misdemeanors. After accepting the charges and finding Hall guilty, McAfee sentenced Hall to five years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine for each charge for a total of $5,000, according to the plea agreement.

Here’s the thing: This puts Sidney Powell in a big bind, because she was inextricably bound up in this conspiracy in Coffee County to tamper with voting machines, as Ryan Goodman notes in this tweet below:

There are reportedly several defendants actively involved in cutting deals at this time, but Hall is the first to actually do so.
