Cops Hunt for Gunman Who Killed 4 in Georgia Suburb

A manhunt is underway in Georgia for a man accused of gunning down four people at a subdivision outside of Atlanta on Saturday.

Three men and one woman were killed in the shooting, which police say occurred just before 11 a.m. in the Dogwood Lakes area of Hampton and left four different crime scenes.

Police identified the suspect as Andre Longmore at an afternoon press conference, where Hampton’s police chief, James Turner, warned that Longmore is thought to be armed and dangerous.

Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to Longmore’s arrest. Addressing the suspect directly, Scandrett had harsh words: “Wherever you are, we will hunt you down in whatever hole you may be hiding in and bring you into custody. Period.”

Police have so far declined to comment on a potential motive, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear. The attack marks the 31st mass killing this year, according to the AP.
