Victory Day In South Osetiya Doesn’t Go According To Plan

An amusing little clip from a ceremony in South Osetiya, the breakaway Georgian Republic that almost no one save for the world’s bad actors (Russia, Syria, Nicaragua, Venezuela, etc) recognizes as a sovereign country. When Russia invaded Georgia in 2008 they “liberated” this area in the Caucasus and created a new state called the Republic of South Ossetia – the State of Alania.

And yes, it is an actual clip, not something from a comedy show, the soldier’s fainting spell causing much mirth on the internet.
