The Jan. 6 committee deployed experienced, nonpartisan career prosecutors, intelligence officers, and national security experts to conduct a thorough investigation following the facts and the law. Their findings, conclusions, and recommendations were informed by dozens of subpoenas, more than 1,000 interviews and depositions, and tens of thousands of memos, briefings, PowerPoints, video footage, and secret messages.
As a result, the American public now has a clear understanding of how Trump and MAGA allies planned and promoted a criminal conspiracy to overturn the results of an election they knew they lost, and that if given the opportunity to do it again, they will absolutely try to subvert our democracy in the future.
No one is above the law. The American people deserve accountability for the chaos and violence that ensued that day. The Jan. 6 committee’s recommendations and referrals are a critical step in pursuit of accountability and ensuring that any future attempt to thwart the will of the voters and to prevent the peaceful transfer of power will be unsuccessful, so please sign the petition.
