It doesn’t take much to trigger former President Donald Trump into a meltdown, and this time, he must have been hate-watching the news because his former Attorney General went off on his former boss.
William Barr told PBS that the Justice Department has a legitimate basis for indicting Trump over the classified documents he stole, bringing them to his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago.
“Given what’s gone on, I think they probably have the evidence that would check the box,” he said. “They have the case.”
He added that it has become “increasingly more likely” that Trump will be indicted.
Barr has been making the rounds to sell his new book. I’m not going to mention the book’s name because fuck that guy. He was part of the problem.
In an op-ed published in the New York Post on Monday, Barr just went for it, calling for a new leader of the Republican Party, warning that Trump “will burn the whole house down.”
“Unless the rest of the party goes along with him, he will burn the whole house down by leading ‘his people’ out of the GOP,” Barr said.
“Unfortunately, after he was elected, Trump brought his wrecking-ball style to the task of governing the nation,” he added. “He did not temper his disruptiveness and penchant for chaos.”
Trump took to Truth Social to assign a nickname to Barr while unleashing another rant in retaliation.
“Sloppy Bill Barr was a weak and ineffective Attorney General who was fired (he didn’t quit!), and now he’s nothing more than a disgruntled former “employee.” Barr was a “Bushie” who was petrified of being Impeached, which the Dems were going to do until he changed course on the Rigged Election,” Lumpy wrote. “He knows nothing about the Document Hoax, & as a lawyer & former A.G., shouldn’t be talking. Weak RINO Bill Barr always caved to the Dems, & is a disgrace to the Republican Party, & our Nation!”
Bill Barr resigned. He was not fired, but Trump knows his base will believe anything, so he throws that out there. This isn’t the first time Bloaty McBatshit has peddled that lie. They’re both horrible people, but Trump wants to regain power again. So, one is scarier than the other.
